ESG Reporting Manager

to join us for a 6-month contract to support the reporting team in the delivery of Kingfisher’s ESG reporting. You’ll manage the delivery of our current ESG reporting suite and support the team in the preparations for upcoming mandatory reporting requirements, which includes the upcoming implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requirements for the 2025/26 financial year. As this is a contract role we’d be keen to hear from people who are immediately / imminently available. Responsibilities

Working with the lead ESG reporting manager to deliver the 2024/25 ESG reporting suite across the Responsible Business report and data appendix, annual report, banner summary reports, and responsible business pages of Kingfisher.com etc. Project manage the data collection process for responsible business key performance indicators, including the data review and audit process. Manage the audit and assurance of responsible business data, including owning the relationship with external audit providers and internal audit team (where applicable). Work with internal teams / consultants to improve the quality of responsible business data. Coordinate the responsible business reporting team which includes internal and external specialists, e.g. copywriter, design agency, web agency, and internal/ external communications to successfully deliver the corporate responsible business reporting to a high standard, to time and budget. Where necessary, support the wider Reporting team on preparation for upcoming requirements, e.g. CSRD. Qualifications

Technical expertise and experience in sustainability reporting. Understanding of best practice reporting standards (e.g. GRI, SASB), frameworks and regulations. A good understanding of key ESG issues including climate change and carbon emissions, human rights and modern slavery issues, diversity and inclusion, circularity, etc. Strong project management and organisation skills, with experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders at the same time. Skilled in analysing, synthesizing and presenting technical information in a simple, business-focused format. Experience of report design and content creation, including briefing agencies and providing constructive feedback on design and copy. Core Behaviours
