Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for driving positive change? We’re on the lookout for a dynamic HR Advisor to join our team in Macclesfield. As a key player on the HR Service Desk, you’ll provide expert guidance on employee relations (ER) and contribute to meaningful HR initiatives that align with our business goals. This is a 12 month fixed term position starting 10 Feb 2025 until 06 Feb 2026 What You’ll Be Doing… Provide expert ER advice to line managers and employees, ensuring fairness and consistency. Manage complex cases such as disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management, escalating as needed. Coach and empower line managers to build their HR confidence and skills. Lead and support HR projects, including diversity, policy updates, and organisational change. Offer strategic HR insights to leaders on compliance, employment law, and best practices. Collaborate with internal teams to achieve the People Vision. Ensure all communications and documentation are precise, engaging, and legally compliant. What Can You Bring?... A solid HR background and proven ER expertise is essential in this role CIPD qualification (or working towards them) is desirable. Exceptional multitasking skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to influence and inspire trust. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence. Deep knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
