The post holder will ensure patients receive safe, individualised and effective standards of care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating their care. The post holder will perform venepuncture/cannulation and administer intravenous drugs to patients attending the Rheumatology Day Unit. There will also be a requirement to assist in Rheumatology outpatient clinics as needed. The post holder will use patient information systems to admit/discharge patients in the Rheumatology Day Unit and use the Rheumatology software electronic notes system (WPAS/WCP). The post holder may be expected to take charge of the area in the absence of the Clinical Nurse Specialists. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. About us
