You will be working within our Trial Management Team to provide support to our Canola, Monola and Omega 3 Breeding programs. Your day will look a little like this, working in our state-of-the-art innovation centre or in the field at our local trial locations; your tasks will include: Participating in the execution of our locally conducted Canola/Monola and Omega-3 breeding programs Operating small scale Research Machinery – tractors, trucks and spray equipment Undertaking sowing, trial maintenance & harvest activities Assisting with creating a safe workplace and working within the Nuseed values Communicating & reporting on progress of trials and nurseries Assisting with maintenance and planning for field equipment Assisting with plant breeding field activities What do you bring? We are looking for candidates with some experience working in agriculture and/or glasshouse activities. You will enjoy the meticulous work required in an R&D program and hold intermediate to advanced computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft suite of products. You can work autonomously; however, you enjoy the dynamics of a team where you will be able to build strong and dependable working relationships. You are curious and will be willing and able to get in and try new things across the program to broaden your skills and assist the wider R&D team.
