Job Purpose Responsible for developing and communicating actionable insights that effectively shape brand strategy and tactics based on a combination of primary research and secondary data across marketed, development brands and business development opportunities. Use sound market research (desktop, primary and secondary) along with strong analytical and critical thinking skills to support the business in making strategic decisions, for developing brand priorities. This is a hybrid role based near our UK Marlow office or France (Paris), Germany (Dusseldorf), Spain (Madrid), Italy (Milan) or Czechia (Prague) Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: Analysing drug development programs, clinical study results and standards of care to build a competitive intelligence dataset that can be combined with competitive intelligence to inform strategy. Compile and analyse secondary marketing and/or sales data and/or analyst reports (including identification and appropriate use of data sources). Provide brand and market evaluation, interpretation, and communication of results synthesizing key data and insights spanning a host of different sources and types of data. Create insightful reports and presentations that clearly and succinctly highlight the actionable insights combined with business implications/strategic & tactical options. Engagement, liaising and working with senior management in Commercial, Medical, P&MA, Business Development, Finance and Development team for identifying risks and opportunities for the brands. High level of skill to build forecast models based on all insight and engagement to clearly demonstrate the risks and opportunities to the business. Manage primary market research design and execution (including vendor/project management of relationship and selection where appropriate) with minimal supervision, while maintaining market research budgets. Qualifications

Position Requirements: Significant relevant experience in analytics and commercial insights. Significant relevant experience of forecasting, which should largely be in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in rare diseases. A demonstrated proficiency in data analysis, excellent Excel usage/construction, and PowerPoint presentation construction and verbal delivery. Experience performing literature searches and reviews. A demonstrated ability and desire to learn established processes and be coached. Ideally a life sciences background, pharmaceutical sales, financial or analytics background. Some domestic and international travel for conference, insight generation and/or market interaction; occasional overnight travel. Kyowa Kirin International is an equal opportunities employer.
