What You'll Do

As our Deputy Soft FM Manager, you'll take charge of several essential services, including: Security, cleaning, laundry, pest control, portering, patient catering, and more. Overseeing and collaborating with our PFI contractors to ensure service excellence. Monitoring and auditing the performance of key service providers while building and maintaining strong partnerships. Your initial focus will be on enhancing our Security provision and Waste Management, with an eye to streamlining and refining other areas in the long term. Key Responsibilities

Lead and Oversee: Step in for the Soft FM Manager when needed, managing a full portfolio of soft services. Be a Key Liaison: Take charge of patient catering, linen, and uniform services, while being the point of contact for security matters. Hands-On Involvement: Develop training programs for NHS staff in conflict resolution and de-escalation. (We'll support you to obtain your SIA card!) Champion Waste Management: Collaborate with the Environmental Manager to ensure efficient, compliant waste disposal. Support the Team: Oversee recruitment, training, safety, and welfare of function staff, ensuring they're equipped to provide the best service possible. Partner with Contractors: Maintain high standards with outsourced services, auditing performance, and ensuring compliance. Stay Involved: Participate in review meetings, working groups, and committees to ensure a seamless, efficient environment.
