Regulatory Business Analyst
for an initial
6-month
long contract based in
London
(hybrid). Purpose of the role: Due to a recent audit, we are launching a programme of work aiming to structure CMI (Regulatory Reporting Team) responses to regulatory events and requests based on the auditor's recommendations. This programme has 2 objectives: The closure of the auditor's recommendations by setting up an organised response framework to regulators (new Target Operating Model), Support the CMI team in the management of a backlog of regulator requests. As a Regulatory Business Analyst, you wil: Set up an organised response framework to regulators Improve the BoW methodology: Incidents, Demands and Projects prioritisation and management, ensure they are logged and planned by IT & OPS Assess and implement effective communication channels with stakeholders (IT, OPS, businesses, compliance) Produce procedures and documentations Coordinate the efforts for regulator open requests and internal change Interpret and transcribe regulations into Business Requirements Definitions (BRD) tailored to business workflows and data models including their respective descriptions Organise an action plan when required and coordinate it through delivery Act as an escalation point for internal issues Manage the IT BoW priority and scope with a transversal angle Act as an expert in Regulatory Reporting and provide guidance and help whenever requested to all GM partners (new business developments, prod incidents, GM projects, TAC/NAC etc.) What we're looking for: Experience of working as a Regulatory Business Analyst / Project Manager in the financial services environment Sound knowledge of MIFID regulations Recent EMIR refit / rewrite experience or recent CFTC and Dodd-Franck experience Good understanding of the implications of change for IT structures Data analysis skills and experience - desirable If you are interested in applying for this position and meet the criteria outlined above, please click the link to apply and we will contact you with an update in due course.
