Risk Management Lead 1 London Bridge (Hybrid 2-3 days a week on site) Fixed Term Contract until July 2026 Full-time, 37.5 hours per week It is a hugely exciting time for our organization to join our Expanse programme in the implementation of Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Focused on advancing our technology and integrating web-based navigation, EHR will allow HCA Healthcare clinicians and colleagues to enhance patient safety, quality and care and to maintain our outstanding ratings and continue to be a global market leader in complex care. As the Risk Management Lead for the EHR, you will be responsible for the identification, reporting and management of the clinical hazards generated by the introduction of the new system, as well working with the PMO on the identification, reporting and management of the corporate and delivery risks for the programme. The Risk Lead for EHR will work across all elements of the programme and will be collaborating with the existing risk governance structures across the group. Within your remit you will be responsible for: Leading the developing the risk management framework to ensure that all risks and issues to the programme are identified, assessed, reported and managed accordingly. Communication to Senior Leadership and the organisation of all the key issues and risks that impact the programme. The escalating and de-escalating process of all critical risks and issue via the relevant governance pathways. Working and developing the PMO team in risk management best practice and the development of a robust risk culture throughout the programme. Delivery of both operational risk and clinical risk training. Leading on the clinical risk management framework to ensure that all hazards and clinical risks are captured in relation to the implementation of the Expanse Programme and in line with DCB0160 standards. Ensuring that patient safety is priority in the implementation of the Expanse Programme. Supporting the Expanse Clinical Safety Officer and HCA clinical leadership to validate that the Expanse Programme is safe to go live. Representing Expanse at the company both the HCA Risk Management Committee and the HCA Risk Management Forum. What you’ll bring: Experience of developing and leading risk management frameworks. Robust stakeholder management and engagement skills. Strong influencing and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving skills. A strong teamworking ethos. A pragmatic approach. Ability to coach and guide others. It would be advantageous but not essential to have: In depth knowledge of both DCB0129 and DCB0160 Standards. Experience in embedding a positive clinical risk management culture. Experience on managing both operational and clinical risks through a deployment of a Health IT system. Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
