Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. The Project Kuiper European Consumer team is looking for a talented Field Services Lead who will be responsible for Northern and Central Europe.

A successful candidate will be a strong operational leader with a passion for customer service, process optimisation and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of B2C installations, with a proven track record in ISP, utilities or service industries.

Key job responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations related to inbound stock, distribution, and coordination with installers. Ensure smooth logistics and manage supplier relationships. Review KPIs, analyse customer experience, and enhance the end-to-end service delivery process. Align demand forecasting with supplier capacities, developing contingencies to address demand variability. Conduct field and supplier audits, handle escalations and jeopardy management. Analyse customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement operational processes to optimize efficiency and ensure scalability as the business grows. Collaborate with Kuiper teams to maintain and enhance performance. Manage relationships with third-party vendors and installation teams, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards. Develop and maintain contingency plans to address potential service disruptions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes and customer satisfaction.

This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.

A day in the life

Manage third party vendors to deliver a world class customer experience for equipment installation. Deliver operational efficiencies and manage to critical metrics. Lead a remote, field based technical installation field force.

Minimum Qualifications

ISP or Telco experience. Management of field based technicians. Contract management. Vendor management and governance. Experience of onboarding and supporting new vendors.
