An organisation is seeking a Project Manager with experience in leading change and transformation programmes. The role will involve managing a variety of projects, ranging from finance & procurement system implementations to new reporting solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans to ensure alignment with business objectives. Drive project delivery to meet time, cost, and quality requirements. Establish and maintain processes for managing scope, quality standards, and performance, while assessing and mitigating risks. Provide consistent updates to business stakeholders regarding project strategy, adjustments, and progress. Build and maintain effective relationships with peers and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes. Identify and manage necessary resources for achieving project objectives efficiently. Oversee the implementation and testing of new systems, including integrations with existing systems. Manage service transition, including setup and delivery of hypercare periods leading to service stability.

Skills Required:

Proven experience with project management principles, methodologies, and tools, with the ability to apply them effectively. Strong background in digital and technology programmes, particularly ERP solution implementations. Experience within sectors like shipping, logistics, oil & gas, or utilities is particularly desirable. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, and influence others towards a common goal. Flexibility and adaptability to navigate ambiguity and changing requirements. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify root causes. Experience working at all levels within an organisation, with a keen understanding of business acumen and organisational challenges. Previous involvement in large-scale transformation programmes. Project management certification is desirable.

The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple aspects of project management, ensuring smooth transitions and delivering high-quality outcomes.
