Syft Analytics is a leading global cloud-based reporting, insights, and analytics platform. About the role: As a Software Engineer at Xero, you’ll play a crucial role in building reliable, scalable solutions. You’ll contribute directly to our products while helping your team adopt strong development practices. This is a hands-on, "on the tools" role. You'll play a key role in

What you'll do

Deliver high-impact projects to integrate Syft Analytics, ensuring scalable and reliable solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement analytics features. Develop high-quality software that transforms complex data into actionable insights. Uphold engineering excellence by driving best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges to maintain system stability and performance. What you'll bring to the role

Experience in software development, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions. Proficient in Node.js (Express) and React, with practical experience in building applications using these frameworks. Proven ability to independently design, implement, and deliver production-ready features while debugging complex issues and maintaining application stability in a commercial environment. A solid understanding of the development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment. A collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders. Problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges into manageable solutions. Familiarity with modern development tools and practices, with exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or GCP being a bonus. Why Xero?
