Salary circa £75,000 We are looking for a Senior Business Partner to join our UKGI Risk and Governance Business Partnering team, focusing on Claims. If you are a risk expert with General Insurance market and claims experience, and pride yourself on your stakeholder management skills, we would love to hear from you! A bit about the job: Within this role, you will be providing 1st line Risk & Governance support and expertise for General Insurance (GI) Claims. This will include being an active member of the virtual Claims community, including the Senior Leadership Team, Customer, Capability & Assurance Team, and the Claims COO function. You will be driving and influencing a positive risk culture, collaborating, and influencing stakeholders through business partnering. This will involve providing risk expertise, advising, and assisting on issues to the business, proactively and on request to enhance business decision-making, effectively manage risks and increase the probability of successfully delivering the UKGI strategic ambition and good customer outcomes. Some of the focus areas with the role will be on Change Programmes, including Deal implementation, and developing Data Science & Gen-AI capabilities that underpin the Claims Strategy, providing support and challenge and ensuring that we are identifying, capturing, and acting/mitigating any risks identified. You will also run the monthly Claims Risk, Assurance & Customer Forum, driving the agenda, actions, and decisions, along with being an active member of other regular forums supporting the Risk and Conduct frameworks across Claims, including topics such as Emerging Risk, Cost of Living, and Customer Insight and MI. The role will also include driving forwards or supporting special projects either in response to business demands or identified by the role holder and prioritised by the Head of Risk Business Partnering. Skills and experience we’re looking for: Proven experience of working with the General Insurance market and relevant regulatory frameworks with preference to claims environment experience. Experience providing risk expertise and working with risk management frameworks – ideally regarding claims, delegated claims arrangement, and claims supply chain. As this role is part of our UKGI Risk and Governance Business Partnering team with a focus on claims, experience of being in a claims function or oversighting claims would be beneficial. Proven experience in managing the highest level of senior management relationships, negotiating, and influencing behaviour and decision-making. What you’ll get for this role: Salary
