At Dienn's Law Solicitors, we are looking for a newly qualified solicitor to join our residential conveyancing, commercial property, and private client team. We would like you to have good oral and written skills, and you will be expected to play an active role in furthering the growth of the firm. We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic, highly motivated solicitor to work in our highly dynamic small law firm based in our new office in Horsham, which is Lexcel and CQS accredited. Our clients and personal connections are of utmost importance to us. You will need to have expertise in residential conveyancing and be able to add value to our growing firm. You will work alongside a well-established director and other members of the team dealing with both registered and unregistered property, including freehold and leasehold, first-time buyers, help to buy, shared ownership, re-mortgages, leases for both landlords and tenants, sales and acquisitions, investment, portfolio management, and finance work for conveyancing. You will also handle probate, estate administration, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and deputyship for private clients. We are a paperless firm (subject to deeds) and pride ourselves on our low emission practice, using high-end case management software known as LEAP to enhance our compliance capability and efficiency. We have ambitious plans and a solid, highly active client base all over the South East, which will be the cornerstone of our expansion. Duties & Responsibilities include: To assist, depending on experience, in managing a portfolio of clients; Attend meetings and make detailed meeting and telephone notes; Innovative thinking when considering cases; Effective time management and organisational skills with the ability to achieve deadlines; Excellent client care skills with the ability to handle a range of clients; A willingness to support others as and when required and be an efficient team player; Ability to work well under pressure, be proactive, and handle a varied workload; Ability to organise and prioritise work in situations that can include time pressure, interruptions, and other causes of stress; Computer literacy and keyboard skills. Salary will depend on experience and number of PQE.
