Are you an experienced and motivated Sonographer who would like to join our vibrant and dynamic team to develop your paediatric ultrasound scanning skills? Here at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, we have referrals to our ultrasound department from almost all the specialities seen here in our hospital. Most of the referrals come from our urology, nephrology and oncology departments. This varied, complex and interesting case mix facilitates learning every day. Serving a split site 5 scanner rooms paediatric ultrasound service, we are supported in our work with distraction aids and have access to play specialists to assist in the successful scanning of patients with complex needs. Our supportive and innovative department provides an excellent diagnostic service to patients, parents and families. You will be part of a team of committed sonographers and ancillary staff and should have exceptional imaging, reporting, communication and interpersonal skills.
