Patient Engagement Lead

to join our team at HMP Bure, a category C men's Prison located in Norwich. As a Patient Engagement Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will: Be responsible for the improvement and stability of patient engagement activities and patient satisfaction through effective service user engagement and peer-led forums, and the planning and delivery of projects/programmes in line with patients' needs and priorities, involving patients (where possible) in project and training delivery. Ensure statutory and organisational requirements are met, that patient engagement activities are conducted frequently across all sites with timely evaluations, and feedback/recommendations are communicated with patients, staff, and external partners where necessary. Work collaboratively with senior management to assist in establishing patient reviews of new innovations for business. Develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery. NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care. A non-judgmental and compassionate approach. Experience of working as a peer representative in a criminal justice setting (including health, housing, substance use). You will be required to have face-to-face engagement with patients as well as group facilitation/note-taking when necessary. Good IT skills and IT literacy. Ability to work within a busy environment.
