As a Doctor in the Army Reserve, you’ll play a pivotal role in keeping the Army healthy and operational, all while enjoying flexibility that complements your existing medical commitments. In this role, you could work across a variety of disciplines such as primary care, occupational medicine, trauma, and rehabilitation, just to name a few. You’ll gain exposure to modern and mobile operating environments, allowing you to acquire new skills that will benefit your medical career. With opportunities to travel and perform specialist care to assist with humanitarian situations, major international activities, and operations, there’s no lack of excitement in this part-time role with the Army Reserve. Boost your Income The pay you receive in the Army Reserve goes straight into your pocket with no deductions for tax, and it increases as you gain seniority and experience. On completion of your initial military and employment training, you could earn at least $368 / day tax-free. Additional amounts are paid for time spent on exercises and deployments.
