Wimbledon College of Arts is looking for an experienced academic to teach on our BA Costume for Theatre and Screen course on a fixed-term basis.

Based in the School of Performance, this course introduces students to professional costume for theatre, film, television and live performance and offers teaching across two specialist disciplines: Costume Design and Costume Interpretation. We aim to prepare our students for a broad, developing and ever-changing costume industry and you'll be key to ensuring that students are equipped with the necessary skills and expertise to succeed.

As an Interim Lecturer, you'll be responsible for teaching, curriculum development, and on-going scholarship in the area of Costume Construction and Interpretation. Utilising your specialist expertise, you'll work closely with the Course Leader to develop pedagogy and the curriculum in innovative and critical directions, stimulating thought and practice that challenges the canon of this subject area.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you'll also provide academic and pastoral support to students, monitoring progress and attendance, and maintaining appropriate records.
