( Primary Care) Cromwell Hospital, Kensington London SW5 0TU Full time - 37.5 hours per week Salary: £53,320 per annum depending on experience Role Overview: Cromwell Hospital is an internationally recognised private hospital located in the heart of Kensington, providing the highest quality healthcare for our patients. With technologically advanced tools and a revitalised premise, we are continuously pipelining for Staff Nurses who will contribute to the continuous and future success of this unit and the high level of care they deliver. What you'll do: Interact with patients, consultants, and all clinical services to facilitate the delivery of a consistent and coordinated patient journey, whilst demonstrating care, compassion, and excellent customer service. Health promotion and management of health assessment bookings. Perform and document general clinical testing including blood pressure monitoring, height, and weight. Medication administration including subcutaneous and IM injections. Minor wound management, immunization, and travel health advice (experience desirable). Perform electrocardiograms and spirometry (experience desirable). Order and manage appropriate stock and consumables needed for your service. Performance of women’s health examinations including cervical screening. Act as a Link Nurse in a designated area reporting to and from meetings/training updates. Participate in clinical audit as required by senior nurses. What you’ll bring: Registered General Nurse and NMC PIN required. Practice Nurse qualification and private health care experience. Travel Health experience and Travel Health qualification. Women’s health qualification and competent in the performance of cervical screening. Chronic disease management qualification. Experience in managing chronic conditions such as asthma, hypertension, and diabetes. Experience in health promotion such as smoking cessation. Medication administration experience. Experience in teaching/educating health professionals and patients. Experience in audit, policy development, and implementation. Desire to develop both professionally and personally.
