Up to £51,000 dependent upon experience (with excellent benefits) We’re looking for a Senior MRI Radiographer to join our MRI team at the London Bridge Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. The London Bridge Hospital campus in South East London encompasses an outpatients and diagnostic centre in The Shard; the large world-class hospital based at the Tooley Street site; Private Care at Guys, which is on the top four floors of Guys Hospital Cancer Centre; and outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City and Canary Wharf. The MRI department consists of eight magnets - 3x 3.0T and 5x 1.5T including the latest flagship models from Siemens. Our team of highly skilled radiographers work with leading sub-speciality consultant radiologists to deliver a five-star patient experience in world class facilities. The department can deliver a wide range of exams from relatively routine MSK to extremely complex Cardiac scans. As a Senior Radiographer within MRI, you’ll provide a customer-focused, high-quality diagnostic Radiography service to our patients and service users; undertaking and performing all MRI procedures. This post will predominantly cover four sites and each site will have a different speciality, including scanning in Neuro, MSK, Abdomen, ENT, Angio’s and much more. Duties & Responsibilities: Provide a professional standard of excellence in MRI services for all patients Work closely with the Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all MRI imaging and patient pathways Identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager Assist the day-to-day running of the breast imaging service Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner Assist with staff orientation and training What You’ll Bring: HCPC registration Degree in Radiography Extensive MRI experience, preferably in the UK In-depth knowledge of MRI processes and policies Why HCA UK?
