We are seeking a passionate and innovative School Nurse to join our dynamic team in Merton. This unique opportunity combines traditional School Nursing duties with a dedicated focus on public health improvement.

About the Role: 80% Clinical Practice:

Provide high-quality, evidence-based school nursing care to children and young people.

20% Public Health Fellowship: Undertake a structured 6-9 month work-based program supervised by a Public Health Nurse Consultant.

Identify, design, and manage a public health project focused on improving the health and well-being of children and young people in Merton.

Collaborate with the CLCH Quality Improvement team to develop and implement your project.

Develop your expertise:

Gain valuable experience in public health, project management, and quality improvement.

Essential Requirements:

Registered Nurse with full and current UK NMC registration Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Qualification (School Nursing) Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience in safeguarding and child protection Flexibility and adaptability in managing a diverse caseload

Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and evaluate innovative school nursing services. Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to children and young people in various community settings. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community partners to ensure seamless service delivery. Contribute to the achievement of the team's and organization's quality improvement objectives.
