The appointee will have a major role in supporting the programme FeME on challenging the disproportionate impact that climate change and biodiversity loss have on women, children and underrepresented communities globally through improved engineering solutions. The appointee will contribute to the delivery of the ambitious research, training and networking programme and support the realisation of its impact. The successful applicant will operate semi-autonomously, managing a wide range of activities, competing priorities and a complicated matrix of internal and external stakeholders; reporting within broad policy outlines to the FeME lead. This role is grade UE07, part-time at 21 hours per week, and is available on a fixed term basis for up to 36 months. Your skills and attributes for success:

Experience in project or programme management in a University or similar research or higher education environment. Ability to establish and maintain a network of personal working relationships across a large complex organisation such as a University. Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills. Ability to think and act strategically and deal with complex problems. Ability to balance priorities and meet competing deadlines.
