Job Title: Housing Disrepair Fee Earner / Solicitor (Hybrid) (ALS) Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housing Disrepair Fee Earner / Solicitor to join our growing team in Bradford. As a Housing Disrepair Fee Earner / Solicitor, you will manage a caseload of housing disrepair claims, working closely with clients to ensure they receive appropriate advice and representation. You will be responsible for handling claims from initial instruction through to settlement or litigation, ensuring high levels of client care and professional service. Key Responsibilities: Managing a caseload of housing disrepair claims, including preparing and drafting legal documents. Advising clients on housing disrepair law, rights, and legal processes. Negotiating settlements and representing clients in correspondence with landlords, housing associations, and other relevant parties. Conducting legal research and ensuring all cases are managed effectively and in accordance with regulatory requirements. Attending court hearings where necessary, advocating on behalf of clients. Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality legal advice. Requirements: Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Fee Earner with a strong background in housing disrepair claims. Previous experience managing a caseload of housing disrepair claims independently. Strong knowledge of housing disrepair law, including Pre-Action Protocols, Civil Procedure Rules, and relevant legislation. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. A client-focused approach, demonstrating a commitment to delivering the best outcomes for clients. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to work from home and the office.
