Job Overview We are looking for a talented and experienced Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join our creative team. This role involves working on all stages of high-profile residential and commercial projects, from concept development to project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design, a keen eye for detail, and a comprehensive understanding of FF&E processes. Key Responsibilities Design & Creative: Develop interior design and FF&E concepts in response to project briefs, aligning with client expectations and the studio's aesthetic. Source, specify, and propose furniture, materials, finishes, lighting, and accessories. Create mood boards, sample boards, and detailed FF&E presentations. Project Management: Develop FF&E budgets, schedules, and procurement processes for internal review, ensuring timely delivery of all elements. Work closely with suppliers, fabricators, and contractors to manage orders and deliveries. Conduct site visits and collaborate with contractors, fabricators, and suppliers to oversee project execution. Coordinate and manage bespoke furniture from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Assist with snagging, styling, and final installations to ensure the highest standards are achieved. Work closely with the design team to integrate FF&E elements seamlessly into overall project designs. Participate in internal team meetings, presentations, and workshops, confidently presenting your ideas and solutions to the Senior Team. Participate in team and client meetings and presentations to articulate design concepts and respond to feedback. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration. Documentation & Technical: Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, specifications as required. Maintain accurate records of all FF&E selections, budgets, and timelines. Create detailed specification schedules for all aspects of the design. Maintain project documentation, including plans, budgets, and schedules. Qualifications and Skills Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Interior Designer, with a focus on FF&E for luxury residential or commercial projects. Strong understanding of furniture design, materials, finishes, and custom fabrication processes. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in client-facing situations.
