But enough about us, let’s talk about you We are in the market for an experienced and qualified Sports Team Leader, you are passionate about your profession and enjoy the rewards of a good challenge. As the Sports Team Leader, you will work as part of a passionate team at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre, one of the premier sporting facilities in Western Australia supporting programs and services for the local community. What impact will you make? Providing leadership to ensure safety and customer service standards are maintained Leading the team in providing a variety of sports competitions for the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre Responsible for supervising and delivering all sports competitions including two evening adult competitions Ensure all equipment and sports competitions are maintained and delivered to a high and safe standard at all times Educate and train staff on current sports regulation changes Promote healthy lifestyle choices for residents and visitors of the City of Mandurah Ensure that the sports are conducted in a safe environment Ensure Occupational Safety and Health requirements are managed, observed and adhered to Ability to “think outside the box” and be flexible in the delivery of services to meet our community’s evolving expectations What can you bring to the team? Diploma in Business Management (or equivalent) or working towards Minimum of three years previous experience in a similar position Provide First Aid Certificate Previous experience in delivering sporting competitions (Sports TG software program desired), and lifestyle activities Previous experience of managing and supporting diverse teams Experience of the development and promotion of new activities and services Possession of excellent customer service skills Previous experience of reviewing, and evaluating programs, policies and procedures National Police Clearance (less than 6 months) Working with Children Check Unrestricted Class C drivers licence As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to participate in a full pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol testing The finer details This part time (19 hours per week) Level 5 position attracts a pro-rata salary range of $87,623 - $93,338 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
