An opportunity to join a world leading manufacturer with an excellent reputation for product quality and industry leading standards. Recruitment Solutions Workforce are looking for a shift electrician to join their clients' engineering team as they expand and improve as a business. A varied, exciting role with challenges that vary from one day to the next. Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns of heavy industry machinery, fault finding tracing, installation/replacement of electrical parts/supplies, existing equipment improvements, liaise and provide support to the production shift teams, completing daily works records.

Role & Responsibilities:

Working within all aspects of the engineering team, you will maintain uptime of conveyor and drive systems, fillers, ovens, furnaces, charging systems, motor/gearboxes, including many more facilities. Self-motivated and able to work alone or as part of a team. Punctual and reliable. Must work with a safe and logical approach to installation and/or breakdown maintenance of equipment. Able to complete work to a high standard to relevant British Standards and regulations. Possess working knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulations (18th Edition preferable) or willing to work towards. Provide shift maintenance assistance when required. Enforce highest level of housekeeping and safe working practices to ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner to provide and maintain a safe working environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Experience with varying voltages and types of electrical systems and equipment. Strong Electrical breakdown maintenance background. Good interpersonal and communication skills over all levels. Basic PLC logic and inverter drive Systems desirable (Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi). Responsible and accountable. Efficient problem-solving skills. The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines in a busy environment. Keen eye for detail. Ability to adapt to various environments and workloads. Experience with at point risk assessments and safe working practices. Must possess recognised apprenticeship indentures.

Shifts & Benefits Package: Shift :- 3 shift pattern - Days (05:50 - 14:00), Afternoons (13:50 - 22:00) & Nights (21:50 - 06:00) Salary :- £38,826 - £41,932 + shift allowance of up to £2400 per annum + Overtime Benefits :- Life insurance, Pension scheme, Cycle2work scheme, Sports & Social Club, Attendance Vouchers and Christmas Vouchers, On Site Free Parking, Employee Assistance Programme. #J-18808-Ljbffr
