Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to take responsibility for the hydraulic build and maintenance at our client's site, just on the outskirts of Keighley. This position involves a mix of factory-based work and occasional field service visits, including installations and overseas travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble hydraulic systems, including dressing prime movers with pumps, valves, and piping. Perform final testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems. Conduct service visits and installations as required, including international assignments. Maintain and repair hydraulic systems associated with heavy plant and mobile cranes. Utilize working knowledge of electronics for the control and operation of hydraulic systems.

Ideal Candidate: Previous experience as a contractor's plant engineer or similar, working with heavy plant or mobile cranes. Strong expertise in hydraulic systems, including assembly, fault finding, and maintenance. Working knowledge of electronics associated with hydraulic controls. Willingness to travel for service and installation work, including overseas assignments. Military engineering experience (e.g., ex-Army engineers) is highly desirable.
