Proactive Personnel Ltd are proud to be recruiting for our client based in Castle Donington for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer.
You will be responsible for working in a manufacturing industry and will ideally have aerospace industry experience (or similar).
Within the aerospace industry, you require working knowledge of complex assemblies and sub-assembly processes.
A significant part of this role is document control (which can include, but not limited to SOP's, quotations, BOM's, planning changes and others).
The role:
Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research. Apply knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials. Develop manufacturing processes. Assess product and process quality by monitoring capabilities. Provide decision-making information by calculating production, labour and material costs. Identify innovating technologies.
Knowledge and Experience:
Experience of sheet metal. Project management skills. CAD experience - 2D and 3D. Attention to detail. Time management. Communication / customer service skills. Knowledge of PFMEA. Outstanding problem-solving skills.
This role is Monday - Friday (either 07:00 - 16:00 or 08:00 - 17:00).
In return, you can expect to earn £35,000 - £40,000.
