Diverseco is seeking a commercially focused Technical Service Manager to lead our Port Adelaide SA based service department. We are currently seeking a commercially focused Technical Service Manager to join our Port Adelaide, SA team and play a pivotal role in driving service revenue and enhancing customer satisfaction. About the Role : Lead and achieve service budgets through successful sales quotations for equipment, upgrades, and service delivery, ensuring both budget targets and gross profit goals are met. Ensure customer service excellence by maintaining and enhancing existing service level agreements (SLAs), fostering strong key service accounts, and proactively pursuing new business opportunities. Provide technical leadership by managing customer service call scheduling, optimizing resource efficiency, productivity, contractor engagement, and cost control. Coach, develop, and empower team members to maximize their potential and enhance team performance. Set clear goals, provide direction, and drive team performance to achieve departmental objectives. Implement and advocate for continuous business process improvements, driving operational efficiency and higher productivity. Focus on growing service business revenue and profitability year-over-year. Stay ahead of industry trends and technical developments by actively participating in training programs and sharing knowledge within the team. Promote the value proposition of our service and customer support offerings, supporting sales opportunities. Identify and implement best practices across the team to drive service productivity and quality. Foster a values-based team environment, conducting regular meetings, coaching, and performance reviews to ensure targets are met and high productivity levels are maintained. Oversee service administration processes, ensuring accurate and timely customer invoicing. Prioritize safety, maintaining a zero-tolerance policy for major or lost-time injuries. About You : A minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical service management role with a proven track record in service delivery and customer relationship management. Strong leadership skills with extensive experience in personnel management, including recruitment, performance appraisals, and staff development. Demonstrated success in managing and achieving service or operational budgets. Formal qualifications in leadership or management (highly desirable). Trade background (highly desirable). Possess National Measurement Institute Licenses (highly desirable). Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy, demonstrating clear decision-making and problem-solving skills to resolve issues quickly. Experience using Customer Relationship Management tools (CRM) (highly desirable). A valid right to live and work in Australia.
