to join our Control Panel businesses. Competitive Salary + Share Scheme + Pension + Healthcare + Company Car/Car Allowance + Benefits About the role The SHEQ Manager will provide support to the Panel Sector Director, the Actemium UK Head of SHEQ, and Business Unit General Managers within the Panels Perimeter to ensure the effective application of Company SHEQ requirements across assigned Business Units. Covering Electrical and Panel Building activities across Industrial, Nuclear & Defence, Transportation, Retail, and Healthcare market segments, including Design, Build, and Maintenance. The SHEQ Manager will be required to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with the Operational and Administrative staff within their sector. They will possess excellent I.T. and communication skills, both written and oral, have strong SHEQ and commercial awareness, and be able to work in a demanding environment. They will report directly to the Sector Director and indirectly to the Actemium UK Head of SHEQ (providing monthly reports and feedback at Sector Level). Key objectives Responsible for the monitoring, compliance, and facilitating the continuous improvement of the Actemium UK Limited Management System via control of their application within the Panel Sector. Advises and supports the Business Unit General Managers and operational staff by providing and interpreting SHEQ legislation, regulations, and practices to ensure operational relevance. Provides support in ensuring that the rules, principles, initiatives, and requirements of the company are met. Ensuring the Company meets all its reporting obligations with respect to Safety, Environmental, and Quality. Support the Actemium UK Head of SHEQ to maintain the Company ISO accreditations, certifications, and memberships. Actively participate and contribute to the SHEQ community within Actemium UK via working collaboratively with the Actemium UK Head of SHEQ and SHEQ Managers in other Sectors within the company. Supports the Panel Sector with their Carbon footprint reduction plans and advises on Environmental and Sustainability queries where required. Profile A minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate, Technical membership to IOSH or equivalent, and a current and ongoing commitment to maintaining CPD. Relevant Environmental Qualification and membership of a recognised environmental body (i.e., IEMA) - desirable. Relevant Quality Qualification and membership of a recognised quality body (i.e., CQI) - desirable. Electrical related qualifications - desirable. Have experience with external audit management and support. Demonstrates strong initiative and the ability to work proactively, anticipating needs and taking independent action to achieve goals and solve problems efficiently. The role will require the successful candidate to have a visible presence in the Business units in the

South West of England and South Wales

with regular travel, so a valid UK drivers license is required. Ability to build relationships and communicate with employees from all levels and influencing senior management to undertake improvement initiatives identified. Ideally experienced in accident/incident investigation. The ability to be accurate and focused on quality. Good organisational skills.
