Base pay range
Our client is a leading multi-discipline engineering business in the midst of a very strong trading period. As a result, we are seeking a talented and motivated Design Engineer to join their multidisciplinary design team at our head office in Glasgow. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of cutting-edge building services systems for a range of exciting projects. Key Responsibilities: Design mechanical systems, including ductwork, piping, plumbing, and control systems, with support from senior engineers. Develop detailed HVAC plans and specifications. Perform load calculations and select appropriate equipment. Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations. Prepare construction documents, including equipment schedules and control sequences. Manage the mechanical aspects of projects throughout the design and construction phases. Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. At least 5 years experience in building services design. Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and industry standards. Excellent communication and project management skills. Proficiency in HVAC design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Excel).
