Commercial Director Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a single contributor role where you will be the technical face of our company, building strong relationships with customers and presenting tailored cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical pre-sales and cloud computing, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, addressing their technical queries and requirements. Collaborate with sales teams to articulate the value of our solutions and support the development of proposals and presentations. Work closely with product and engineering teams to create tailored cloud solutions for clients. Assist in the development and execution of go-to-market strategies in collaboration with sales and marketing. Provide enablement programs and training for customers to ensure successful adoption of solutions. Maintain and enhance relationships with customers and cloud providers to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Requirements 2+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales role. 2+ years of experience working with a major cloud provider. Strong technical expertise and a proven ability to translate business needs into cloud solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Day-to-Day Activities Attend customer meetings to discuss and present tailored solutions. Respond to technical customer queries directly or via account managers. Collaborate with internal teams to produce and review technical materials. Participate in technical training and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives. Support account managers with pre-sales activities, including drafting proposals and delivering technical presentations. Travel Requirements While the role is primarily remote, some travel may be required to meet customers or attend partner events.
