Principal Software Engineer

Software Architect
with several years of proven experience delivering complex software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a track record of leading the design and implementation of scalable, efficient solutions using event-driven and microservices architectural patterns. Key responsibilities include: Demonstrating hands-on coding experience (preferably in Python). Writing and maintaining architecture decision records (ADRs) and design documentation in Markdown. Driving DevOps practices to ensure robust, secure, and maintainable platforms. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape technical direction and strategy. Experience in large Telecom environments (e.g., BT, Vodafone, EE, Three UK, O2, Virgin, TalkTalk) or SDN (Software-Defined Networking) is highly desirable. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions in complex environments, are a must. Understanding of CICD pipelines, release cycles, software runway, and infrastructure requirements to support ongoing improvements is a prerequisite. As a provider of delivery expertise and pragmatic solutions to high-profile customers, we are looking to expand our telecom skills base of professional, experienced Principal Software Engineers and Architects.
