Safety, Environment and Quality Officer role - manage 2 States Diverse role looking after multiple facets of WHS. Competitive Salary of up to $115K + Super. WorkTrybe is proud to be partnering with a long-standing client to find their new Safety, Environment & Quality (SEQ) Officer based in Melbourne and covering Victoria and Western Australia. Some interstate travel (2-3 times / year) will be required. This Australian company provides premium services in national road express specialised transportation and logistics services. The role will be based onsite at their site at Derrimut in western Melbourne, relocating to Tullamarine in the next 12 months. What's in it for you?

Competitive salary paying $110,000 - $115,000 + Super depending on experience. Responsibility for health and safety across VIC and WA sites. Partner with experienced and engaged managers to ensure safety is the focus from the ground up. Report to a newly appointed National SEQ Manager who is top of their field and an amazing person to learn from. About the role

Responsible for monitoring and enforcing compliance with WHS standards, industry regulations, and policies. Investigation of any WHS incidents, preparing reports, and suggesting recommendations for corrective actions. Complete safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate any potential risk. Work with employees at all levels by developing and delivering onboarding, safety training, and awareness programs. Ensure all environmental legislation and company sustainability objectives are adhered to, supporting any initiatives to enhance an eco-friendly workplace. Focus on quality assurance investigating any issues and implementing corrective and preventative measures. Keep up-to-date records, submit reports to the National Manager, and provide support in achieving systems alignment with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. Monitor any workers compensation claims and RTW programs for VIC and WA. About you

Essential Cert IV in WHS within the last 5 years. Preferred Diploma in Workplace Health & Safety. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience within Safety, Environment, and Quality, within the Transport and Logistics industry. Ability to deliver effective training and communicate health and safety requirements to workers at all levels. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Solid work history illustrating tenure in roles and dedication to the safety profession. Proficient use of SEQ management systems and reporting tools. Strong attention to detail and highly organised.
