In this pivotal role, you will lead a dynamic team of cybersecurity professionals, drive the cybersecurity agenda across the organisation, and ensure the protection of our information assets. About the Role Lead the cybersecurity engineering team to ensure the protection of the organisation’s information assets. Oversee both Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations and the execution of strategic cybersecurity programs. Develop and execute cybersecurity engineering strategies aligned with business objectives. Ensure compliance with CPS 234 and CPS 230 prudential standards. Build and operationalise security technologies that are fit for purpose, effectively managed, and operationally efficient. Lead the delivery of cybersecurity projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant execution. Ensure the automation of security toolsets and align them with the organisation's SDLC to adhere to secure-by-design principles. About You Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline and substantial relevant experience in a Cyber Security team in a large work environment. People Management & Leadership – Experienced in building and leading a high-performance team with a strong blend of technical and business orientation, as well as stakeholder management. Strong knowledge and championing of Secure by Design software development lifecycle frameworks. Deep subject matter expertise within relevant fields and broad awareness of industry trends and best practices. Experience in Internal Audit, Information Security, Global Security, or other Governance, Risk & Compliance fields. Proficiency in AWS (or similar) cloud security and infrastructure, web infrastructure security, network security tools, encryption technology, database security, disaster recovery concepts, and operating system security.
