Senior SEO Manager

Due to recent client wins and ongoing expansion, we are seeking a Senior SEO Manager to join our team of specialists at Vega and help drive our continued growth. The role will require a balance of hands-on SEO work, tactical execution, and strategic input, supporting the wider SEO team while maintaining direct involvement in key projects. Candidate Overview 4+ years’ experience in SEO – with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior management role. Experience across E-Commerce, Lead Gen & iGaming is beneficial. Experience in leading projects, and managing and mentoring a team of SEO specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Oversee the development and execution of SEO strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients. Comfortable working hands-on with SEO execution. Serve as the senior point of contact for SEO-related client communications, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction. Strong presentation skills, excellent writing, project management and problem-solving skills. Create relevant keyword research which commercially prioritised, incorporates audience insights and aligns with our client's business objectives. In-depth knowledge of technical SEO, including conducting and overseeing audits, providing technical recommendations. Provide strong recommendations on on-page optimisations/creation and able to link this with Technical & Digital PR efforts. Ability to guide the content team in creating high-quality, optimised content that aligns with audience insights and client objectives. Strong knowledge of tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, STAT, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and more. Understanding of how other channels such as SEO, PPC, and digital PR work together to enhance performance. Drive innovation within the department by experimenting with new SEO tactics and tools.
