Continuing Continuing appointment La Trobe Bundoora Campus Location Full time HEO8 About the position The Senior Online Education Designer collaborates with the Manager of Online Education and is responsible for contributing to the delivery of high-quality online education developments across various schools, including quality assurance. This role works closely within a matrix team structure, engaging with staff from across the University, including Schools, Student Services, and within the portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic). This also involves collaboration with other Education Services teams, Quality and Standards and the Library. Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, you will have: A degree with substantial extension of relevant knowledge and skill through professional experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience. Demonstrated knowledge of a wide range of models of online education and user-centred design practice, and their application in teaching contexts. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to engage collegially and effectively with academic and professional staff, and the ability to negotiate effectively with all stakeholders.
