We are recruiting for a knowledgeable Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Treatment Engineer, who will have a well-rounded skillset and strong technical knowledge. You will be joining a busy and well-known outfit, who has a presence nationwide and provides the full range of Water / Legionella services. Applicants must be able to work independently on occasion, so candidates will need to demonstrate a reliable and adaptable nature. For successful applicants, they are paying competitively on a basic salary and offering excellent benefits, including a company vehicle and overtime.
Experience / Qualifications: Must have experience undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold water systems Will have hands-on Water Treatment Engineering experience Qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG guidelines It would be preferred that candidates also hold plumbing experience and related qualifications (such as Level 1, 2 & 3 NVQ) Good written ability and IT literate Can be flexible to travel as per company requirements
The Role: Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments in accordance with ACOP L8 guidelines Writing bespoke reports for clients, outlining risks and recommendations Showerhead disinfections CWST inspections, cleans & disinfections Basic flushing on outlets Servicing and maintenance of TMVs Some ad-hoc remedial duties such as pipework adjustments and valve replacements You will be covering a mix of Domestic and Commercial client sites
