Led by the Group Financial Reporting Manager who reports into the Head of Group Financial Reporting, the team sit alongside and work closely with the transactional finance teams (credit control and accounts payable) and other areas of business operations. The team are ultimately responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of Company numbers both internally and externally. Driving the accuracy and timeliness of corporate reporting, internally and externally, this individual will live in the heart of the business. The team is growing quickly to adapt as the business grows and adds complexity and this is an exciting opportunity for someone wanting to get involved across all areas of the business and implement changes which ultimately improve reporting quality. In this role there will be exposure to most areas of reporting and work closely with various business operation functions. As a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant, you'll be responsible for: Own and evolve technical accounting and reporting for areas such as revenue recognition, IFRS 15, SBP, Consolidation, FX, intercompany. Provide timely and accurate management accounts, financial statements and variance analysis - directly and via members of the team. Ensure readiness and assist in delivering successful HY and YE audits, being a key contact for the auditors. Lead and deliver ad hoc & project-based work. Ownership of assurance and reporting of complex balance sheet reconciliations and key controls for several areas. We'd love you to have Qualified with demonstrative PQE in practice or industry. Confident and proactive, professional approach. Strong technical accounting & analytical skills with the ability to clearly document and convey complex topics. A drive to succeed and progress. Proven ability to problem solve. Ability to motivate others and instil values that align to the highest levels of customer service while maintaining high levels of employee engagement.
