Climate-KIC (Knowledge and Innovation Community) is Europe’s foremost climate innovation initiative, entrusted by the European Commission to catalyse transformation through innovation. Headquartered in Amsterdam, with circa 160 people distributed all over the EU, Climate-KIC leads and orchestrates innovation with a community of more than 400. Together we conduct activities in 39 countries. ABOUT THE ROLE Climate-KIC is seeking a forward-thinking and dynamic Transformation Lead to drive integration and alignment across the organisation so that it can effectively and efficiently capture market value and scale impact. This pivotal role will identify, assess and lead the execution of strategic and value creation initiatives to advance Climate-KIC’s mission and strategic goals. The Transformation Lead will champion strategic transformation efforts and provide robust program and change management oversight. The role focus will be on developing and aligning the service/product roadmap, shaping commercial offerings, professionalising fundraising and go-to-market strategies, and strengthening collaboration & resource planning across the organisation. The Transformation Lead will orchestrate the integration of cross-functional teams to unlock their full synergistic potential. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Integration and Synergy Creation:

Foster collaboration across clusters and teams by breaking down siloes, improving alignment and building cohesive partnerships. Strategic Opportunity Identification and Development:

Identify, shape, assess and operationalise new strategic opportunities in collaboration with leadership. Program and Change Management Oversight:

Provide oversight and leadership for key strategic initiatives and transformation efforts. Value Chain Optimisation:

Lead the redesign and continuous improvement of business processes in the Hub and adjacencies. Service/Product Roadmap and Commercial Offering Development:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop a cohesive service/product roadmap. Fundraising and Go-to-Market Professionalisation:

Engage with strategic partnerships to enhance capacity and capability for GTM and project delivery. Strategic Workforce Planning:

Input into workforce planning strategies, ensuring that the fundraising goals are well-connected with project delivery capabilities. A natural collaborator, you’ll embed systems thinking to align teams and amplify Climate-KIC’s impact. Experience: 10+ years of experience in a leadership role, driving business transformations Proven experience in managing large, complex transformation programs, including change management Strong expertise in developing product roadmaps and commercial offerings.
