Company The 75 years old company is an industry leader in a specialist field with extensive experience and a well-established reputation, producing a range of bespoke and standard RF antenna products ranging from large volume products for global companies to small volume custom work for highly specific applications. The company manufactures products for a diverse range of industries and market sectors including public security, defense, transportation, utilities, manufacturing, construction, and consumer goods. The main manufacturing site is based in London with subsidiary companies based in Texas, Singapore, France & Australia. The Role We are looking for an enthusiastic Training & Internal Events Coordinator to join our growing team. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will assist the HR & training function by coordinating and supporting training activities across the Company worldwide. Key areas of responsibility will include: Organise the trainings across the Company worldwide: liaise with the trainers to find a date, book the room, send the invite, collect class roster and update the training software. Monitor course attendance. Ensure employees receive all statutory training and training related to Company policies. Ensure refresher trainings are completed and organised in due time. Organise the new starter trainings alongside the line managers. Assist the Health and Safety Coordinator during audits (provide the class rosters etc.). Liaise with the trainers to review and update the training materials to comply with internal branding; help with creating interactive training materials and processes. Develop relationships and organise trainings with external providers. Create an annual training plan alongside the HR Manager. Research and recommend new training techniques to ensure the skills development of our in-house trainers. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback and assessments, making improvements as necessary. Take the lead on organising internal company events – the summer social, Christmas party, and various other smaller local events throughout the year. Attend all events and make sure they run smoothly. Create flyers, invitations, and materials/posters for internal events and manage guest lists. Any other ad hoc duties requested by the HR manager and the HR Director. Other requirements: Must be willing to attend events in the evening a few times a year. Experience with Adobe suite, Adobe Captivate preferred. Some travel may be required across our subsidiaries globally. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and the role is full-time office-based at least 4 days a week. Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday from 8 am until 5 pm. 30 minutes lunch break unpaid and two paid tea breaks of 15 minutes each. Remuneration: £30,000.00 - £32,000.00 Benefits: On-site parking (based on space available).
