About the Role
The Digital Transformation Project Manager will work closely with employees at all levels across Council and technical and delivery partners. This position will ensure that the digital transformation program is planned and managed on a day-to-day basis with the strategic goals in mind:
Manage the procurement and partner selection process, in line with the program strategic direction and councils’ procurement policy
Manage the day-to-day deliverables of the transformation program team as allocated
Manage program deliverables to ensure they are delivered within the constraints of time, budget and quality
Lead the management of project risks, issues and dependencies within the specified governance frameworks, providing sufficient information for effective decision making
Facilitate required digital transformation governance forums
Submit program status reports in line with required reporting cycles
Provide direction and leadership to program team members, fostering effective collaboration and communication, especially in an environment with delivery and technology partner relationships
Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation programs involving multiple business departments and external partners
Experience in working with diverse teams and developing strong partnerships with delivery and technology partners
Demonstrated ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders and develop positive and productive relationships across multi-disciplinary teams
Demonstrated experience in delivering change in a complex service-based environment
Experience in program risk, issue and financial management in a highly governed and political environment
