Our work schedule for the team includes process improvements and project delivery, where we have a number of key infrastructure initiatives underway including a deployment of a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, Win11 deployment, Unified Communications, and Legacy technology replacement.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing strategic direction and solution design across all core technologies, specializing in Networking & Telecoms. Designing and implementing production environments to ensure alignment with trust growth plans and project initiatives. Strategic disaster recovery planning for all design aspects of technology infrastructure. Pro-actively reviewing new and emerging technologies with subsequent application according to the Trust's business requirements; where relevant, providing input into business cases. Undertaking research and development initiatives on a range of emerging technologies. Keeping abreast of industry developments. Carrying out internal reviews of the technology enterprise and other available data to identify where investment is required to ensure strategic objectives are achieved. Ensuring ICT Support and Operational Groups are aware of Networking & Telecoms technologies.
