Your Opportunity
Reporting to the Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to provide engineering functional leadership and project engineering services, enabling the project to be delivered safely, profitably and in accordance with the client’s contractual, technical and quality requirements.
As The Project Engineer, You Will Be Accountable For :
Interpreting specifications, drafting and maintaining drawings and plans, construction methods and procedures
Providing engineering support to the Senior Project Engineer
Comprehensive understanding of the scope of work, specifications, work plans and drawings
Developing detailed work programs for allocated work packages
Supporting with scope of work, equipment and materials, and ensuring compliance
Identifying variations in work packages and submitting lists for review
Preparing Project Specific Quality Management Plans and obtaining approval from relevant stakeholders
Ensuring the requirements of the quality management plan are effectively implemented to meet project requirements
Ensuring familiarity of team members with the quality assurance manual, procedures, ITPs, test methods & reporting requirements
Preparing internal ITPs, forms & checklists for approval by Client
To Be Successful, You Will Have The Following :
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Post Graduate qualifications advantageous)
Demonstrated experience working in a FIFO capacity previously
Previous experience working on sizeable FRP / Concrete projects
Proven forecasting and budget management, EOM Process, Cost Tracking skills
Ability to fly from Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney
