Bring your expertise in Category Management and build on your experience with pharmacy and beauty brands in a full-time role with a leader in Travel Retail. You will join a team working across Australia & New Zealand and be accountable for supporting the growth of the pharmacy and mass market beauty categories across our network through a range of diverse activities including category planning & ranging, pricing & promotions, management of supplier relationships and negotiation.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate extensive product knowledge, broad thinking, experience working with cross functional teams and a diverse set of skills required to drive category strategy.
Responsibilities will include :
Taking part in supplier negotiations
Creating engaging value propositions for customers, based on insights and data
Monitoring customer engagement in stores
Working with stores to drive category success
Managing to budgets and forecasts
Inventory & purchasing plans to maintain positive cash flow
Internal reporting of Category performance
Playing an active role in promoting the culture of the business
In order to be successful in this role you will need :
3+ years’ experience in retail category management
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Industry knowledge in pharmacy / beauty will be highly advantageous
Strong analytical skills
You will enjoy juggling competing priorities, demonstrate a high level of initiative, have excellent time management and communication skills and confidence liaising with a varied audience.
