This SEN Teaching Assistant post is for those with experience working with children as well as good academics, to support a child 1:1 in the classroom. The child you will be working with is in Year 1 and has low functioning autism and requires extra support in class and around the school in social environments.
The child needs support with behaviour and communication, often getting frustrated with activities and can portray an aggressive behaviour. With the right SEN Teaching Assistant the child has seen great development in the past and found being in class a lot easier!
