Join Our Private Client Tax Team at Rawlinson & Hunter LLP! Are you a current university student looking to gain experience during your sandwich year? At Rawlinson & Hunter LLP, we are offering the opportunity for prospective Interns to join our award-winning firm for a 12 month period, starting in the Summer of 2025. About the Department: The Private Client Tax department provides a range of services for both UK and non-UK domiciliaries, UK and international tax planning and advisory services to include: advice on tax efficient wealth structures; personal offshore administration; employment taxation structures; property ownership (both in the UK and overseas); offshore trust and company administration; reviewing the tax implications of residence and domicile laws; assisting with litigation support advising on the use of trusts; the mitigation of inheritance and capital gains taxes; the use of structured relief (for example EIS and VCTs); business succession and exit planning; providing the advice to sports people and entertainers; dealing with simple and highly complex tax investigations and enquiries; advising in relation to charitable giving, to a wide range of clients. The clients are of a quality and diversity that you would expect from an international practice. About our 12 Month Internship Programme: Join our Internship Programme that offers a rewarding 12-month experience in our Leatherhead office. This program provides an incredible opportunity to gain invaluable real-life experience in a professional practice setting, immersing yourself in the operations of a leading accountancy firm catering to international clients. What You Will Do: As an Intern, you will initially learn how we operate as a leading accountancy practice, picking up new things along the way! As you progress with your Internship, you will then join exciting projects and broaden your skill set with our varied client base! You will have the chance to collaborate with a diverse range of clients and will experience different opportunities that will be the catalyst for professional growth! What We Are Looking For: Minimum A – C Grade in 3 A-Level subjects or equivalent. Minimum 9 – 6 Grade in English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent. Passion for numbers and good attention to detail. Confidence to engage with partners, clients and staff. Strong organisational and prioritisation ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Genuine interest in pursuing a career within a professional practice firm.
