This advert is for individuals who are interested in working with children with

additional learning needs . This will usually be on a

1 to 1 basis

and will mean you are responsible for looking after and working with the child in a school-based setting.

The rate of pay is

£85-90 per day . Full and Part time shifts available - standard full day is 8:30am - 3:30pm . Primary Schools based in Carmarthen . Supporting pupils with ALN (Autism, ADHD, Learning & behavioural difficulties)

Role Overview:

As a full-time Additional Learning Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. Your primary responsibilities will include providing one-on-one and small group support to students with additional learning needs, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere, and assisting with classroom management.

Key Responsibilities:

Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons. Provide individualised support to students with additional learning needs. Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources. Help with classroom organisation and maintaining a safe learning environment. Observe and record student progress to inform teachers and parents. Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure effective teamwork.

Requirements: Relevant experience working with young children in an educational setting. A passion for early childhood education and child development. Enhanced Child workforce DBS (if you do not have one, you will be required to take a new DBS out at £61.30*) EWC registered or willing to register with EWC for £15. Attend an interview via Teams meeting or in person.
