£90 - £100 Per day We are looking for a full-time 1:1 SEN Specialist to start in a SEN School based in Milton Keynes starting in November 2024. This school is dedicated to providing excellent education and support for children and young people aged 2 to 19 with severe and complex learning difficulties and health and care needs. Job Duties:

Supporting class Senior LSA’s and Teachers with the preparation of resources to meet the personalised learning intentions of allocated students. Providing 1:1 support under the supervision of the class Teacher for the delivery of skills-based learning. Working closely with the class Teacher to report on progress using an evidence-based approach. Enabling students to learn by understanding their learning goals and targets; enabling them to practice and learn new skills and challenging them to be as independent as possible. Being involved in the provision of all aspects of support necessary to ensure the students' wellbeing and ability to function and engage in learning. Understanding and fully implementing Safeguarding policies and procedures. Required Qualifications:

A minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths. Experience:

Prior experience working in a similar role within an educational setting would be ideal but not necessary. This role comes with additional responsibilities compared to that of a Teaching Assistant. Knowledge and Skills:

Initiative to take proactive actions. Organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently. Prioritisation skills to handle multiple responsibilities. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
