The post would suit a motivated and enthusiastic individual with the ability to work well as part of a team, ideally with prior assistant or healthcare experience although this is not essential. Good communication and time management are required to work within a busy inpatient environment across a variety of settings. The caseload and duties will require you to provide therapy interventions and implement programmes of care devised predominantly by the Physiotherapists; training and a competency package are included in the role. You will be responsible for clinically relevant administrative duties in BHNFT to ensure smooth service delivery. You will experience a comprehensive induction process and have access to learning opportunities and development, including the opportunity for apprenticeship training to become a B4 assistant practitioner and/or a registered practitioner. Our service values leadership at all levels, and you will be encouraged to play an active part in service development and improvement, with a view to shaping effective patient care pathways and best practice. The successful applicant will have excellent team working skills and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and patients, as well as being able to work alone. Flexibility of working times and practice is essential, which will include 7 day working and weekend working. About us
