We're searching for a dedicated 1st Line Support Engineer to join the IT team in Stonehouse!

This engineering consultancy aims to deliver secure and quality solutions to support their clients in various highly regulated sectors including defence, aerospace, rail, and energy.

About the Role: Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT issues (desktop support, network connectivity, printers, and Microsoft Office Suite) Provide user guidance and training on software/hardware Manage and resolve user requests through phone, email, and ticketing systems Assist with system administration tasks and maintain company IT systems

About You: Experience with SharePoint and Exchange Proven background in 1st/2nd line support roles Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Active Directory, VPNs, and remote access technologies (desirable)

Key Information: Role: 1st Line Support Engineer Salary: £24,000-£27,000 Per Year Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire Primarily On-Site With Occasional Remote Working Eligibility: British Citizens Only Due to Security Clearance Requirements

Key Skills: 1st line support SharePoint Exchange Windows Active Directory VPNs Remote access technologies

Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Citizens. Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
